This past week I flew to New York City for two days. My 48 hours spent in the Big Apple were a whirlwind. While I was in the city, I interned at the Oscar de la Renta office.
The last time I was in New York City was this past fall. Sometimes when you are gone from a place that you love, you begin to forget why you loved it so much. Of course I missed the city, but being home had been so nice. During the 48 hours I was back in the city there were little moments that reminded me of why I fell in love with this special place. I love the cold crisp weather during the winter, the Frank Sinatra music playing while ice skaters twirl in Bryant Park and the little café on the corner where you can stop in to grab the best coffee in Manhattan.
My second night, I spent time with my close friend Mayleen, aka MayMay. It was so nice to see her and to catch up. We shopped a bit, walked through Bryant Park and grabbed dessert and coffee at La Pain Quotidien.
Overall my 48 hours were amazing. I’m so ecstatic to say that I will be spending this upcoming summer in New York City working at Oscar de la Renta as an intern in the PR department and also modeling. See you soon New York City. Xo, N
